Welcome to our live coverage of Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola's press conference to preview Wednesday's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield against Chelsea. The Reds boss will be with us from 12.30pm.
And he should be in an excellent mood after the 2-0 victory at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday stretched ever-improving side's winning run to four matches in all competitions.
But it could have come at cost with Florian Wirtz limping off with an injury ankle injury that makes him a doubt for the all-Premier League last-16 encounter.
Expect Iraola to be quizzed on Wirtz plus a number of other Liverpool who are currently carrying injuries including Victor Munoz, Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong.
And expect him to be asked about Xabi Alonso, his childhood friend and the 2005 Champions League-winning hero for the Reds, who returns to his former club for the first time as Chelsea boss.
Ian Doyle is at the AXA Training Centre to bring you live updates from the press conference.
Iraola is over
Well, that's more than enough from the Liverpool head coach.
Stick around on the ECHO website for much associated content.
Iraola on telling team to play with physical edge
Nowadays all the teams are quite intensive not just sitting in a block, it doesn't happen a lot and definitely not against Brighton and Chelsea and Villarreal. They want to press and there won't be many spaces. If you win the duel, that second ball, it's what makes nothing in the middle of the pitch mean you go up against the keeper.Past season it was a very good team also.
Iraola on Chelsea discipline problem and using it to winding them up
No. You are saying they have this problem, but it won't be in our team meeting, no.
Iraola on Kop approach after Brighton
It's not about gaining the confidence. You haev to have the right to belong, you want to get it with good performances and wins and this will take time. But I'm glad because I felt hte other day the upporters helped us a lot. They were enjoying it as we were. The players they liked our performance in terms of they gave everyhting, they blocked everything, making tackles, winnign duels, making runs in behind, these are the things people want to see.I would say it's the start (of earning the right) but we need more time.
Iraola on Alonso
I've done maybe 25 interviews about our relationship but at this moment everyone knows. We were close friends, grewup together in the same team, we played against each other at club level and together at national team. But now we are in the same position, I want to beat him and he wants to beat us. Once we are playing against each other the relationship is not good as you stop talking! But he is a very good friend and I wish him all the best.
Iraola on Isak
I think Alex feels the trust of everyone. Everyone trusts if he moves into good positions he will score goals. But I always tell him he has to help us sowe can give you the chances, and I think he understands that necessity. I hope that can continue at the same level.
Iraola on Brighton possession
I always said, whoever controls the game is whoever controls the chances. It's not about having the ball. Brighton had the ball btu mainly in their half. We had a good spell in the last 10 minutes to control much better. We had a moment in the second half where we were conceding too much territory. Our long-term goal is how we played in the first 30-35 minutes. That's our aim. During 90 minutes you'll have moments where you have to be more compact. We should be able to differentiate. The other day I was quite pleased. Against Villarreal I thought there were spells they were controlling us and we weren't comfortable. But the other day I thought we were comfortable. The more time we stay together the more experience we have together, the more comebacks the better you know each other. The easier it is to have references and evolve. We want to do this process while winning games.
Iraola on compromise due to lots of games
It's the same for everyone. You don't have time. We don't have time, Chelsea doesn't have time, Arsenal doesn't. It makes a big difference if you have one more day. Against Brighton we were lucky as we had more days. Everything has to be done on video if you don't have time to prepare. Chelsea, Arsenal, Palace definitely we have less time to rest than the opposition but sometimes you have to adapt. You cannot overthink. It's a matter of adaptation.
Iraola on Danns
Problem for Jayden has been availabilty. He has had some setbacks and in and out, but he is now nbuilding soe minutes, scored the other day, is in a good place. He has mainly been with us in European games. I hope he progresses and pushes to fight for minutes.
Iraola on rotation
It's not that we have a lot of options that we need to rotate. All the top teams need to rotate. Sometimes you have forced rotation due ot injury or sometimes we have different demands in different games tactically.I am happy that everyone is involved. When we have had to use someone who hasn't played a lot of games, they have jepled us. The more players we have in a good place the easier ny selection will be, even if it will be hard to leave players out.
Iraola on Carabao
Every competition is important. I would love to win tomorrow and have the chacne to win the comipetition but I know we have to play very well. We are playing a team that isn't in EUrope o for them this competition is very important.(Alonso then Arteta next) I have a lot of friends! They are good coaches. Whatever happens as with Inigo this week we will have some minutes to talk.
Iraola on team selection
There will definitely be changes but we want to win the game. We want to be competitive. We have to see how the legs are. We've been trying to make changes from game to game. We want to be in the next round. We have been unlucky in the draw, playing Chelsea, and they've been unlucky also. But we want to earn the right ot be in the draw again and that can only happen if you win.
Iraola on injuries
We still have ot wait. We train later. Florian was quite fine and optimistic he would be available . ANd with Dom and Victor I'm not so sure. I don't wnat to say no but I think it's mor difficult than Florian.
Iraola in the house
So we can begin...
Carabao Cup craze
There isn't much of that here today.
Not many people in attendance other than the regulars.
Andoni Iraola will be among us in a few moments...
Quarter-final draw details
The draw for the last eight is set to be conducted at the conclusion of Liverpool's fourth-round clash with Chelsea.
Ball numbers for the draw will be announced earlier on Wednesday.
Ties in the fifth round are scheduled to be played in the week commencing December 14.
Here's hoping the Reds are part of that.
Pre-presser reading?

Have your say
You love Ronald Araujo, right?
And surely you want Liverpool to sign him on a permanent basis?
Familiar faces
It will not just be Xabi Alonso returning to Anfield tomorrow evening; Jordan Henderson will be, too.
That was one move in particular few Liverpool supporters would have seen coming.
Alonso, by the way, will be holding his own press conference at 1.30pm.
Who else could be missing
Just the six players: Dominik Szoboszlai, Victor Munoz, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike.
We know the latter three won't be available, but we may get an update on the others.
Just a reminder, Andoni Iraola will be with us at 12.30pm.
Wirtz latest
Liverpool currently have seven players either doubtful or ruled out of the last-16 encounter with Chelsea.
And the latest member in the treatment room is Florian Wirtz after he limped off in Sunday's 2-0 home win over Brighton.
But according to the man himself, it's not a bad one.
Wirtz said: "I think it should be all right. It's not too bad. I don't know much yet, we have to check it but it won't be long."
Good morning
And welcome to our live coverage of Andoni Iraola's latest press conference.
The Liverpool head coach is seeing a hell of a lot of the media lately with his side in the middle of a hectic run of fixtures before the final international break of the year.
But we're sure he won't mind that too much given how well the Reds are playing.
It's four wins on the spin for Liverpool and niw eight in 12 since the summer arrival of Iraola.
But Chelsea, managed by his childhood friend and former Kop hero Xabi Alonso, will be a tough test in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.
Especially considering the Reds may ring the changes with a huge Premier League showdown at home to Arsenal to come at the weekend.
