Premier League 2026/27
Rio Ngumoha is the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool FC history.
He arrived at the Reds' Academy in September 2024 having previously been on the books of Chelsea.
A lively left-sided forward, who can play anywhere across the front line, he featured for the U18s, U19s and U21s during 2024-25. He was also handed his senior debut by Arne Slot when he started against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup in January 2025.
After impressing in pre-season ahead of 2025-26, Ngumoha made his Premier League debut as a substitute away at Newcastle United in the August.
And it was an historic bow as the attacker found the target in the 100th minute at St. James' Park to secure a 3-2 win, becoming the youngest LFC scorer ever, aged 16 years and 361 days.
A few weeks later, Ngumoha became the youngest player in the club's history to appear in European competition (aged 17 years and 19 days) when he came off the bench in a 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
